Turquoise waters, enchanting beaches, and unspoiled nature.
Boat Tours of La Maddalena and Its Islands
Enjoy a boat tour with a skipper and the freedom to choose the beaches and secluded coves you wish to explore on your dream excursion. With an experienced local guide at the helm, our captain Marco will recommend the most beautiful islands to visit and the best routes to make the most of your time on board.
The choice is yours: visit the archipelago’s most famous beaches and breathtaking locations, spending as much time as you wish at each stop, or venture off the beaten path to discover enchanting hidden coves and natural pools that few visitors ever get to see.
To protect this unique natural environment, La Maddalena National Park regulations prohibit boats from approaching the shoreline too closely. As a result, many of the archipelago’s beaches can only be reached by swimming.
- To help you reach these beaches safely and comfortably, Karma Rent Boat offers the following equipment upon request:
- Kickboards to help you swim to the beaches with less effort.
Snorkeling kits (mask and fins).

Suggested Itinerary: What to See on Your Full-Day Boat Tour
Each of the seven main islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago has its own unique charm and something truly special to discover. Every one of them is worth exploring!
Depending on your preferences, your skipper’s recommendations, and favorable weather and wind conditions, we’ll explore two or three islands of your choice.
Spargi – Budelli – Santa Maria
ISLAND OF SPARGI – Our first stop will be the island of Spargi, where you can swim, go snorkeling, or head ashore to relax on the beach. We’ll explore Cala Corsara, Cala Soraya, Cala Conneri (also known as Cala dell’Amore), and Cala Granara.
ISLAND OF BUDELLI – We’ll continue to the island of Budelli, famous for its iconic Pink Beach (Spiaggia Rosa). As landing and swimming are prohibited, we’ll admire this breathtaking beach from the sea, a sight that is well worth the visit. We’ll also explore Spiaggia del Cavaliere, the Natural Pools, Porto della Madonna, Passo del Topo, and Passo degli Asinelli.
ISLAND OF SANTA MARIA – Our third stop will be Santa Maria Bay, a true gem at the northernmost tip of Sardinia, known for its fine, soft sand and crystal-clear waters.
La Maddalena – Caprera - Santo Stefano
ISLAND OF LA MADDALENA – We’ll visit one or more beaches of your choice on the island of La Maddalena, including Spiaggia Testa del Polpo, Cala dello Spalmatore, Spiaggia dei Monti dell’Arena, and Cala Francese.
ISLAND OF CAPRERA – We’ll continue to Cala Coticcio (also known as Tahiti), where, in accordance with National Park regulations, the beach can only be reached by swimming. This is one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in the archipelago, where you can swim in crystal-clear waters surrounded by curious schools of shimmering silver fish.
We’ll make additional stops at different locations, depending on your preferences and the weather conditions. We might stop at the romantic Cala Brigantina, the long stretch of pristine white sand at Cala Portese, or the crystal-clear waters of Cala Napoletana.. Between these well-known beaches lie countless small bays and secluded coves, often unnamed, each with its own unique charm and surrounded by breathtaking, untamed natural beauty.
ISLAND OF SANTO STEFANO – Our tour will end with a visit to the island of Santo Stefano, where the beautiful Baia del Pesce is one of the main highlights. We’ll also have the opportunity to discover other hidden corners of paradise, bringing this unforgettable day to a perfect close.
RAZZOLI - LAVEZZI
Long-Distance Surcharge: €25 per person
ISLAND OF RAZZOLI – We’ll sail towards Razzoli, near the Corsican border, the wildest and most rugged of the 60 islands and islets that make up the archipelago. Its rocks, sculpted by the wind and sea, are true natural works of art.
Some of its sheltered coves are hidden gems, including Cala Cappello, Cala Noce, Cala Lunga, and Cala Bove Marino. The sea shimmers in shades ranging from light turquoise to deep blue, while the seabed is teeming with marine life and underwater vegetation, making it an ideal destination for snorkeling enthusiasts.
ISOLA DI LAVEZZI -Our second stop will be the stunning island of Lavezzi, known for its crystal-clear natural pools surrounded by massive granite boulders in unusual, almost lunar-like shapes.
Lavezzi is considered one of the best snorkeling spots in the area. Here, you’ll have the chance to swim among hundreds of curious fish that seem completely at ease around people, thanks to the island’s protected natural environment, where fishing has been prohibited since 1972.
Blue Tour No. 4: Mortorio – Soffi
The islands of Mortorio and Soffi are two hidden gems set in the picture-perfect waters of Gallura. Part of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park, they are known for their stunning shades of turquoise, beautifully sculpted granite formations, and the deep green of the Mediterranean scrubland.
