Rib tour of the Maddalena and its islands
A rib trip with skipper lets you choose the beaches, islands and coves to visit on your dream excursion. An expert guide just for you – Marco, our captain, can advise you on the best islands to visit.
Many beaches in the Maddalena Archipelago can only accessed by boat. This is why Karma Boat Rental & Excursions provides everything you need to get there safely and calmly. This includes:
- Swim floats for easy swimming to the beach
- Snorkelling kit including mask, fins and snorkel
- Seac 2.5 mm shortie wetsuit
- Tour duration: 8 hours
- Number of people: 1 -5
- Rental type: exclusive, private use of the rib by the rental group – skipper included
- Pick-up and drop-off times: 10 am – 6 pm

To ensure your complete privacy we will avoid areas where other tourist boats and tours gather with large groups, as far as possible.

Each of the seven main islands in the Maddalena Archipelago have a stunning characteristic, all well worth a visit!
Depending on your choice, weather and wind conditions and the skipper’s advice,2 or 3 islands can be visited.
Green Tour n.1: Spargi - Budelli - Santa Maria
ISLAND OF SPARGI – Our first stop-off will be at the island of Spargi where you can swim, snorkel or enjoy the beach.
ISLAND OF BUDELLI – Then we’ll move on to Budelli island, famous for its Spiaggia Rosa or Pink Beach, visible only from the boat as bathing and landing are prohibited. We will also call in at the Spiaggia del Cavaliere, the Piscine Naturali, the Porto della Madonna, the Passo del Topo and thePasso degli Asinelli
ISLAND OF SANTA MARIA – Santa Maria bay is the third stop-off, a jewel at the very northern tip of Sardinia, characterised by superfine sand and crystal-clear waters.
RED TOUR n.2: La Maddalena – Caprera - Santo Stefano
ISLAND OF LA MADDALENA – We’ll go across to one of the most beautiful beaches on La Maddalena. The choice is yours, from – Spiaggia Testa del Polpo, Cala dello Spalmatore, Spiaggia dei Monti Dell’ Arena or Cala Francese.
ISLAND OF CAPRERA -We’ll continue on to the cove, Cala Coticcio (known as Tahiti). This is one of the most stunning places to snorkel.
Other stop-offs can be selected from – cala Brigantina, cala Portese or cala Napoletana.
ISLAND OF SANTO STEFANO – Our tour will round off with a visit to the Island of Santo Stefano. This island’s showpiece is the bay, Baia del Pesce.
YELLOW Tour n.3: RAZZOLI - LAVEZZI
contribution for the distance of 25 € per person
ISLAND OF RAZZOLI – We will head for Razzoli, not far from Corsica. It is one of the 60 isles and islands within the archipelago and the wildest.
ISLAND OF LAVEZZI – Our second stop-off is the amazing Island of Lavezzi, with its sparklingly clear water surrounded by enormous moon-shaped granite boulders. Lavezzi is considered one of the best places for snorkelling.
Tour blu n.4: Mortorio - Soffi
Le isole di Mortorio e Soffi sono due gioielli incastonati nel mare da cartolina della Gallura. Fanno parte del Parco Nazionale della Maddalena e sono caratterizzate dai colori unici dell’acqua, dalle evoluzioni del granito e dal verde scuro della macchia mediterranea.
